From the original M series of Pentax lenses. This was the “standard” or “normal” focal length lens. It’s Super Multi Coating and it’s super fast f1.4 aperture make it ideal for indoor shooting (candids, stage & theater, sports, etc). It’s optical design is 7 elements, 6 groups with an 8 blade diaphragm. It’s size is 63 x 42 mm, weighs 265 grams, and uses 52mm filters. Even though this is and earlier design it can be used on many of the more current Pentax DSLR bodies. You will not be able to uses some features on some newer bodies.
